Ladies notice Schoolhouse dangers for children

Reunion pavilion changed from Schoolhouse to Emsworth and West View






While checking out Nouth Park as a possible reunion site, it was decided not to reserve these sites

While checking out South Park as a possible reunion site, it was decided not to reserve a site at this park. Evidently the tree that fell on it wasn't large enough.

PS: We are hopeful that the Third Saturday in July be reserved by family members for a possible reunion every year or couple of years. This way folks can plan vacations, weddings, etc. around it. Future reunion planners should keep in mind that some of the best pavilions are reserved one half to a year before the event. The community of Trafford, has a hidden, yet equipped park (B-Y Park) with a pond, walking paths, cement block restrooms, and three large pavilions that look promising.

This year's Family Reunion is Saturday July 12, 2008 at North Park in Allegheny County.
We have reserved Emsworth (#25 electrified) and West View (#114) pavilions" on Ingomar Rd. and an "alcohol permit".
The pavillions are 45 steps from each other and are available from 8:00 AM until sunset.
A port-a-john is close and brick restrooms are within a few minutes walk.
Also available is a kid's playground across the dead end road.

This will probably be the last big family reunion for 2-5 yrs. People everywhere are searching the internet under geneology to find their ancestors. Unlike them, you have a chance to provide a live experience with their ancestors and Family of 2nd and 3rd cousins, Great-great Aunts and Great-great Uncles. What an oportunity!
